Slayr – Self Titled [Video]

Slayr shares the official video for “Self Titled,” a new track built around a Playboi Carti “Slay3r” sample.

Slayr’s momentum has been moving fast since Half Blood and the expanded Half Blood (BloodLuxe) pushed his sound deeper into the wider underground conversation, and “Self Titled” adds another sharp burst to that stretch.

The track leans into the warped, high-voltage side of his style, flipping a sample of Playboi Carti’s “Slay3r” into something bright, jagged and flex-heavy. Slayr threads Auto-Tuned melodies through the production with the confidence of an artist who understands the internet-speed energy around him without sounding like he is slowing down to explain it.

No larger project has been attached to “Self Titled” at this point, so the official video works as a quick hit from Slayr’s current lane rather than a traditional album rollout piece. It is another reminder of how fast his world moves: short, loud, melodic, and built for replay.
