Louis Menace and DJ Mirage put the producer-album format front and center on Darius, a grimy 13-track set built around raw boom-bap pressure, cold textures, and a heavy underground guest list.

After “The Empire Intro,” the album quickly pulls Eto, Flee Lord and AZ into the same room on “Bass Out The Fortress,” setting the tone for a project that stays rooted in street-level lyricism and dusty production. Across the tracklist, Flu, Block Forever, Yah Sin, Al Fresco, O Finess, JRoberts, Jamal Gasol, Jae Hussle, G Fam Black, Hus KingPin, Daniel Son, XP The Marxman, Reek Osama, Mook Da Truth, Terrence Wood, DJ Looping, Blaze 5th and Oba The Great all add their own weight to the record.
