Lizzo – BITCH [Album Stream]
Lizzo returns with BITCH, a 12-song album that trades some of her usual bright-pop certainty for something messier, moodier, and more defensive.
The title is not subtle, but the record treats it less like a slogan than a pressure point. “A Toast” opens the album in wounded farewell mode before “Happy 2 Be,” “Don’t Make Me Love U,” “She Stole My Man,” “Whose Hair Is This,” “Too Nice,” and “Like a Crime” move through heartbreak, resentment, self-protection, and public exhaustion. Lizzo still reaches for big hooks and theatrical turns, but BITCH often sounds more interested in survival than celebration.
That shift gives the album its tension. “Don’t Make Me Love U” leans into arena-sized pop drama, while “BITCH” flips the loaded word into a statement of ownership, drawing a clear line back to the confidence that has long shaped Lizzo’s writing. Elsewhere, the album stretches into rock-edged pop, soul, R&B, and rap, with “Sexy Ladies” bringing UCB into the mix and pushing the record toward go-go energy.
Official videos for “Don’t Make Me Love U” and “BITCH” are already out, giving the rollout a visual anchor without turning the album into a simple comeback narrative. BITCH is not just Lizzo returning to the room; it is her working through what it feels like to stand there after the room has changed.
