Rome Streetz previews Sock It To My Pocket with “Cocaine Coltraine,” a rugged Denny La Flare-produced single with an official video out now.

The Brooklyn MC opens the door to Sock It To My Pocket with “Cocaine Coltraine,” a grimy new single built around smoky saxophone textures and drums that hit with a blunt New York weight, and puts Rome back in his preferred zone: dense writing, cold delivery, and no extra polish.

Rather than stretching the idea out, Rome cuts straight through the beat with tightly packed street talk and a controlled sense of menace. Denny La Flare’s production gives him room to work without softening the edges, letting the jazz element feel dusty instead of decorative.

An official video arrived with the single as well, giving “Cocaine Coltraine” a visual push while Rome starts setting up his next full-length. Sock It To My Pocket is currently slated for July 17 via Mass Appeal, and this first look suggests a rugged chapter ahead.
