The Doppelgangaz – Just Another Day In The P.U. [Video]

The Doppelgangaz are back in the cloak zone with “Just Another Day in the P.U.,” a new track and official video from their upcoming Beats for Brothels, Vol. 9.

The song has the duo settling into familiar terrain without sounding like they are simply retracing steps. Matter Ov Fact and EP keep the production dusty, understated, and slightly warped, leaving enough space for the rhymes to move through deadpan humor, grimy detail, and that oddball Doppelgangaz language that has always made their catalog feel like its own closed circuit.

“Just Another Day in the P.U.” is the first available taste of Beats for Brothels, Vol. 9, which is set to arrive next month. The album continues the long-running instrumental-rap series with 18 tracks, all written, produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by The Doppelgangaz themselves.
