Anderson. Paak – K-POPS! [Album Stream]

Anderson .Paak shares K-POPS! (Music from and inspired by K-POPS! Motion Picture), a 17-song soundtrack featuring DEAN, G-DRAGON, aespa, JID, NMIXX, Jay Park, CHUNG HA, and more.

.Paak has opened the doors to K-POPS! with the full soundtrack now available to stream. Officially titled K-POPS! (Music from and inspired by K-POPS! Motion Picture), the 17-song release ties directly into .Paak’s feature film directorial debut and plays like more than a companion piece.

The project moves through the bright, high-gloss world of K-pop without sanding down .Paak’s own instincts for funk, R&B, rap, and loose live-band energy. That mix is the whole appeal: the soundtrack lets him step into a different musical language while still keeping the drums, warmth, and personality that have always made his records feel human.

The guest list is stacked without feeling random. JID, G-DRAGON, aespa, NMIXX, DEAN, Kevin Woo, JOSHUA of SEVENTEEN, HONGJOONG of ATEEZ, SOYEON of i-dle, Jay Park, CHUNG HA, JO1, LNGSHOT, ALISSIA, Corbyn Besson, and Soul Rasheed all appear across the album. “Aftertaste,” .Paak’s smooth collaboration with DEAN, already gave the soundtrack one of its strongest entry points, while “Keychain” with aespa and the K-POPS! version of “Too Bad” with G-DRAGON underline how comfortably the project moves between Korean pop, R&B polish, and .Paak’s groove-first approach.

The film itself follows a Los Angeles musician who heads to South Korea and ends up reconnecting with his son through a K-pop competition. That father-son thread carries over into the music as well, with Soul Rasheed making his recording debut on “Love Is Everywhere.” For .Paak, K-POPS! is a film project, a family story, and a soundtrack all at once — colorful, open-hearted, and built with enough rhythm to stand on its own.
