A-F-R-O – Burn It Up [Video]

A-F-R-O keeps the Blood Rain run moving with a new official video for “Burn It Up,” one of the self-produced cuts from the recently released EP.

The track sits deep in the project’s grimy boom-bap pocket, allowing him enough room to stack syllables, snap through internal rhymes, and keep the pressure up without smoothing out the edges. Blood Rain is built around that same darker energy: eight tracks, one guest appearance from 4-IZE, and a mood A-F-R-O has framed as angry, dark, and a little experimental while still rooted in boom-bap.

“Burn It Up” works well as a visual pick from the EP because it captures that direct, no-frills intensity. A-F-R-O sounds locked in, rapping with the kind of technical control that has always separated him from empty speed-rap exercises: the pace is sharp, but the delivery still has weight.
