Ne-Yo’s country-leaning run gets a little clearer with “Ms. Tundra,” a new single from his upcoming album, Highway 79.

The track leans into a line-dance-ready bounce without sanding down the part people come to Ne-Yo for in the first place: polished melodies, clean writing and a hook that knows exactly when to keep things simple.

Produced by Chuck Harmony, “Ms. Tundra” folds upbeat country instrumentation into Ne-Yo’s R&B comfort zone, giving the record a playful, crowd-facing energy rather than treating the genre shift like a full costume change. It follows previously released Highway 79 cuts “Simple Things” and “Up Out & Gone,” with the album set for release on July 10.
