Jamal Gasol revisits his Cedar Law$-produced Fresh 31 project with a video for “Estaban,” a Rico Tellem-assisted cut from the 2024 release.

The track does not need to be treated like a new album moment; it works better as a sharp look back at one of the project’s grimier pockets. Cedar Law$ keeps the production stripped and tense, giving Gasol and Tellem enough space to lean into the kind of street-level detail that sits at the center of the record. Gasol sounds locked in without forcing the moment, while Tellem’s verse adds a clean contrast without pulling the track away from its lane.

“Estaban” originally appeared as track 6 on Fresh 31, and the new visual brings the record back into rotation without overcomplicating it.
