Tobi Lou – Baggy Weather [Video]
tobi lou shares the official long-form video for Baggy Weather while his latest album, Same Old Jeans (Ripped Jeans) is out now.
tobi lou is not moving in a straight line right now. With his latest album Same Old Jeans (Ripped Jeans) freshly out, he reaches back into the world of Baggy Weather for a long-form official video built around rain, movement, and the kind of surreal emotional weather that has always made his visuals feel slightly off-center.
Rather than a clip for one specific track, “Baggy Weather” plays as a full-album visual companion. In the video description, tobi explains that he had wanted to shoot a rain-machine video since seeing artists like Michael Jackson and Usher perform in the rain, and that the album’s soundscape finally gave him the right setting for it. He also ties Baggy Weather to a difficult period of personal transition, which gives the piece a little more weight beneath the playful surface.
Directed by Glassface, with concept by tobi lou, the video leans into the long-form approach he previously explored around Non-Perishable. It is dreamy, wet, loose, and very much in his own lane—a visual detour that arrives while his newest album is already pushing the next chapter forward.

Ever since I was a kid I’ve always wanted to rent a rain machine and shoot a musiic video. I think when i first saw Michael Jackson or Usher dancing in the rain I was like yeah that’s peak right there lol. The soundscape of Baggy Weather was the perfect stage to try this idea out. Also I like to do these long form music videos for full albums because transitions are my favorite part of making albums. I learned this back in 2022 with the release of Non-Perishable. And Baggy Weather was made at a point in my life where I was going through some of the most difficult transitions I had ever been through. Thank you for watching
