El Da Sensei – Blow Shit Up! [Video]

El Da Sensei is bringing fresh attention back to The Unusual with the official video for “Blow Shit Up!,” released in connection with the album’s 20th Anniversary Edition.

Originally released through Fat Beats in 2006, The Unusual still hits with the kind of hard-edged, unfussy boom-bap that defined El’s solo run outside of The Artifacts. “Blow Shit Up! (Army Edition)” sits right in that lane: rugged drums, direct delivery, and a hook built around pure impact rather than polish. The new visual leans into that same blunt-force energy, keeping the focus on El’s presence and the record’s raw momentum.

The anniversary edition also gives the album another moment on wax, with Fat Beats pressing The Unusual as a forest green 2xLP. The project includes production from names like Illmind, J. Rawls, K-Def, DJ Revolution, Jake One, Frequency, Fusion Unlimited, 3rd Rell, The Fyre Dept, and Money Merc, plus appearances from O.C. and Sean Price.
