GIVĒON expands BELOVED with ACT II, adding new songs with Kehlani, Leon Thomas, Sasha Keable, and Teddy Swims.

GIVĒON opens BELOVED: ACT II by extending the emotional weather of BELOVED rather than interrupting it. The deluxe edition adds new material to the singer’s lush, grown R&B universe, keeping the strings, slow-burn arrangements, and aching baritone at the center while giving the record a fresh front section.

The new songs bring in Kehlani, Leon Thomas, Sasha Keable, and Teddy Swims, each fitting naturally into the album’s world of romantic damage, late realizations, and velvet-voiced regret. “SAVE SOME FOR ME” pairs GIVĒON with Kehlani, “FOOL ME ONCE” links him with Leon Thomas, “REPLICA” brings in Sasha Keable, and Teddy Swims appears on a new version of “KEEPER.” Around those additions, the original BELOVED material still carries its weight, from “MUD” and “RATHER BE” to “TWENTIES,” “I CAN TELL,” “BLEEDING,” and “GOOD BAD UGLY.”

What makes ACT II work is how little it feels like a random add-on. GIVĒON keeps the same elegant restraint that defined the original album, leaning into classic soul textures without turning the record into a museum piece. Even at 19 songs, the project moves with a clear sense of mood: wounded, polished, intimate, and deeply committed to rhythm and blues.
