Kurupt links back up with Snoop Dogg on “Survival,” a concise new Death Row Records single rooted in West Coast history and veteran chemistry.

The track runs just over two minutes, but it does not feel tossed off. It plays like a quick reminder of chemistry that has been built across decades, with Kurupt’s sharp delivery cutting through the record while Snoop brings his unmistakable calm to the hook and overall feel.

There is no need for the track to over-explain its lineage. Kurupt and Snoop share too much history for that. “Survival” leans into the weight of experience, the kind of lived-in rap language that sounds natural coming from artists who helped define the Death Row era and still know how to make that energy move in the present.
