38 Spesh sets up his next project, “8 Shots” with “The Main Line,” a hard-nosed new single featuring Method Man.

Produced by Tricky Trippz, the track puts two generations of East Coast precision in the same lane and lets the bars do the heavy work.

Spesh opens with his usual calm pressure, rapping in clipped, controlled bursts that make every line feel measured. Method Man slides in with the veteran ease you expect from him, bending pockets without loosening the song’s grimy focus. Nothing here feels overworked or polished into softness; “The Main Line” is built for sharp drums, cold delivery, and the kind of chemistry that comes from two MCs who know exactly where to leave space.

“8 Shots” is set to drop on May 29, with guest appearances from Method Man, Busta Rhymes, Rome Streetz, Dave East, Ransom, Che Noir, Smooth Haynes and Curtis Coke. “The Main Line” sits near the top of the tracklist, and it works like a proper opening blast: direct, heavy, and rooted in the no-frills rap language Spesh has been refining for years.
