Tiara Thomas – Make It Make Sense [EP]
Tiara Thomas releases “Make It Make Sense,” a seven-song R&B EP featuring H.E.R. and the previously released “A Hug” and “Kiss Me.”
Tiara Thomas keeps the mood intimate and sharply written on “Make It Make Sense,” a seven-song EP that puts her voice, pen, and sense of restraint right at the center. The project does not chase a big, overworked R&B rollout; it moves with patience, warmth, and the kind of emotional clarity that makes even the quieter moments feel fully shaped.
The EP opens with “Never Been to the Parties” and includes “Move” featuring H.E.R., a pairing that makes sense given Thomas’ long-running songwriting connection to H.E.R.’s world. From there, songs like “A Hug,” “Distractions,” “Don’t Go Messing with Your Ex,” “Seeing Red,” and “Kiss Me” keep the writing close to real-life tension: attraction, doubt, self-protection, and the messy logic people bring into love when they know better but still feel pulled in.
“A Hug” and “Kiss Me” have both received official video treatments, giving “Make It Make Sense” a visual thread without turning the EP into something too glossy. The strongest part of the release is how unfussy it feels. Thomas lets the songs breathe, keeps the arrangements clean, and leaves enough space for the writing to carry the weight.
