LUCKI – DaysB4Bad* [EP]

LUCKI releases “DaysB4Bad*,” a five-track EP featuring Lil Yachty and Kkanii, ahead of the next phase of his “Dr*gs R Bad” rollout.

LUCKI keeps the rollout tight on “DaysB4Bad*,” a short new EP that plays like a pressure check before the next full chapter. At five tracks and just under 12 minutes, the project does not stretch for effect. It moves quickly, lets the beats breathe just enough, and leaves LUCKI in the kind of half-numb, half-locked-in pocket that has made his music feel so instantly recognizable.

The title pulls him back toward the Days B4 lineage, but the mood is sharper and more condensed. “U READY!” opens with a direct jolt, while “Sex Mula / Pete” brings in Lil Yachty for the EP’s longest cut. From there, “BAD* Influence Freestyle 2 (FOR THE LOVE)” and “BAD* Influence 2 (Made My Hoe Faint)” keep the writing loose and druggy without losing focus, before “Capo 2x” with Kkanii closes things out.

“DaysB4Bad*” feels less like a detour than a quick transmission from the middle of a larger rollout. LUCKI does not overexplain where he is headed; he gives the fans five records, keeps the atmosphere heavy, and lets the anticipation around “Dr*gs R Bad” build on its own.
