Isaiah Rashad has never needed to force the room quiet. The writing is loose in the way his best music often is, but the weight underneath it is unmistakable.

“Same Sh!t” set the tone ahead of the album with an official video that framed Rashad in a quiet, uneasy loop before pushing him toward something darker. “It’s Been Awful” expands from there without losing that strange intimacy—a record that moves through haze, humor, regret, and resilience without turning any of it into clean confession.
