Sir Michael Rocks links with Valee on “In Solace,” a laid-back new cut that slides into place without trying too hard.

The track is out now, and it also gives the rollout for “Rocks, Paper, Scissors: Choices” another push ahead of the full project’s April 22 release through Marriani/Fake Shore Drive.

That album context helps the song land a little harder. Instead of feeling like a random loosie, “In Solace” comes across as another clean preview of the tape, with Valee fitting naturally into Sir Michael Rocks’ low-key, polished lane.
