Dave feat. Tems – Raindance [Video]
Dave and Tems finally gave “Raindance” the proper visual—and it matches the record’s glow.
The official video is filmed in Lagos, Nigeria, letting the song’s Afro-leaning warmth breathe in a setting that feels alive: movement, texture, night air, and that “summer in the middle of winter” kind of atmosphere.
What works is how effortless it feels. “Raindance” isn’t a high-drama storyline track—it’s chemistry, tension, and tenderness, and the video plays it the same way: two stars sharing space without overacting the moment. It also lands as a nice full-circle nod after Dave’s appearance in Tems’ “Mine” visual earlier in the rollout.
“Raindance” lives on Dave’s third album, “The Boy Who Played the Harp,” and this is one of the key visuals being pulled from that project. On the credits side, the song is stacked—Jo Caleb and Kyle Evans as producers, with Tems, Dave, and Jim Legxacy among the additional production credits.
If you loved the track already, the video elevates it: less “music video” energy, more like a captured mood—rain in the forecast, feelings in the front seat.
