Your Old Droog feat. Wiki – Raindrops [Audio]

Your Old Droog and Wiki have always sounded like they come from the same city block even when they’re rapping about completely different corners of it—and “raindrops” snaps right back into that chemistry.

It’s a fresh loosie that pairs two of New York’s most conversational writers with a producer choice that immediately raises an eyebrow in the best way: redveil on the boards.

Redveil gives them a backdrop that feels like drizzle under streetlights: moody, spacious, and just punchy enough to keep the verses moving without rushing them. Droog slides in with that dry humor and casual precision he’s built a whole lane on, and Wiki answers in the same language—reflective but sharp, like he’s narrating a scene while also side-eyeing it. The entire record plays like a quick weather report from the city: not dramatic, just real, and somehow addictive.

The best part is how effortless it feels. Droog and Wiki have history (their collaborative EP “What Happened to Fire?” is still a sleeper favorite for many heads), so “Raindrops” doesn’t need to “introduce” anything—it just picks up the conversation where they left it.

As of now, “Raindrops” is a standalone single (not currently attached to an album/EP release), which honestly fits the vibe: a clean, in-the-moment drop you throw on when the sky’s grey and the pen is active.
