Jae Millz – This Is Not A Diss [Video]
Jae Millz isn’t hiding the energy on “This Is Not A Diss” — he’s just framing it.
The title reads like a disclaimer, but the performance says something else entirely: Harlem confidence, laser focus, and that I’m really outside with it posture that doesn’t need extra theatrics to land.
The record is built for bars first. Ron Browz lays down a tense, knock-heavy backdrop that leaves Millz plenty of room to talk slick, talk direct, and keep the pressure on without turning it into a gimmick. Millz handles the work end-to-end, too — written, recorded, and mixed by Jae Millz, with the visual shot by Lenox Hughes and directed/edited by Millz himself.
If you’ve been waiting on a bigger body of work, this one matters: Millz has been teasing it as the first release off his upcoming album “Black Glove Millzy”.
