Your Old Droog – Yod Serling [EP]

Your Old Droog opens the “Twilight Zone” door again with “Yod Serling” — a tight, five-track EP that plays like late-night street cinema: sharp dialogue, darker corners, and zero wasted scenes.

Edan handles the bulk of the production (tracks 1, 3, 4), with J-Es on “Pitstop” and K-nite 13 on “Freekazoid”. The sequence is clean and purposeful: “Suspects” sets the tone, “Pitstop” keeps it moving, then “Ghostwriter” and “Victims of the Street” dig deeper into that narrative-heavy pocket — the kind of writing that feels like it was made for this concept in the first place. And yeah, the title isn’t random: Droog has talked about “Yod Serling” as an homage to the “Twilight Zone” vibe, with story-driven joints recorded with Edan — and this EP finally lets that idea fully materialize.
