“Santa Save Me” is Chip Tha Ripper (aka King Chip) leaning all the way into the holiday season—playful, slick, and self-aware, but still very much rap-first.

The big highlight is the stop-motion video, which gives it that classic holiday special feel—handmade, playful, and built around charm and movement rather than flashy performance shots.

“Santa Save Me” is being rolled out as a single from Chip’s upcoming album “Rapping Paper (Gift Raps 2)”, the sequel to 2011’s “Gift Raps” LP, scheduled to drop December 25. On the production side, it’s credited to Chuck Inglish, which makes sense—there’s a festive bounce that still keeps a clean hip-hop backbone. And the rollout itself has been very “Chip”: he’s been teasing the album concept with actual wrapping-paper-themed promo and merch, making the whole era feel like a real holiday campaign instead of just a random seasonal upload.
