Hit-Boy & Spank Nitti James – Stupider [Video]
Hit-Boy and Spank Nitti James keep the “Yeast Talkin’” campaign in motion with the “Stupider”, spotlighting one of the project’s early standouts.
The track lands as song #3 on the album, clocks in at 2:31, and continues the run of records dropping through Hit-Boy’s Surf Club Inc., with the full 18-track album out now worldwide.
On the credits side, Chauncey Hollis Jr. (Hit-Boy) and Derrick Reynolds handle the writing, with Hit-Boy on production, threading that now-signature “Yeast Talkin’” sound: late-night bounce, rubbery low-end and drums that still knock in the car. Lyrically, “Stupider” sits right in the pocket of the record – slick talk, streets-to-boardroom perspective and that easy hand-off between Hit-Boy and Spank that’s been building over their last few collabs.
The video doubles as another billboard for the album and helps cement “Stupider” as one of the cuts you circle when you run the project front to back. If you’re already in on “Yeast Talkin’“, this is an easy replay; if you’re not, “Stupider” is a clean entry point into the whole Surf Club era they’re building.
