21 Savage – What Happened To The Streets? [Album Stream]
21 Savage closes out the year with “What Happened To The Streets?”, his fourth solo studio album and the follow-up to 2024’s “American Dream“.
The record lands via Slaughter Gang/Epic and runs as a tight, roughly 47-minute set, using the album title less as a song name and more as a framing question for where he and his world are at in 2025.
Across the tracklist he sticks to his sweet spot: cold, unhurried delivery over tense, modern trap production. The features list is stacked but focused – Young Nudy, Latto, Drake, GloRilla, G Herbo, Metro Boomin and Lil Baby all show up without ever crowding Savage’s voice. Cuts like “Ha”, “Dog Sh*t”, “Mr. Recoup” and “Gang Over Everything” balance street paranoia, flexes and coded morals over beats from a heavyweight producer roster that includes Metro Boomin, Southside, Wheezy, Zaytoven, FnZ, Oz and more.
The mood shifts on closer “I Wish”, where he runs through a long list of fallen peers and local heroes, turning the final track into a memorial and answering the album’s central question in the bleakest way possible.
Visually, the campaign leans on striking artwork by Slawn – a twisted, question-mark-haunted figure and a set of limited, numbered CD editions that are already being treated like collectibles. All told, “What Happened To The Streets?” plays like a sharpened, more haunted next chapter after “American Dream” – concise, heavy on replay value and very much 21 Savage in his own lane.
