A-F-R-O – No More Patience [EP]
A-F-R-O follows up a busy 2025 run with a brand new 9-track project, “No More Patience”, out now via his own FRO Thizzle Productions.
Billed as his 8th solo EP, it finds him locking back into raw boom-bap mode: hard drums, dusty loops and dense rhyme schemes, delivered with that breathless, multi-syllabic style he’s been sharpening across releases like “AFRODEEZEAK 3” and “The Bad & The Ugly II“.
Guest-wise, “No More Patience” is stacked with underground firepower. A-F-R-O brings in Illa Ghee, Rim, Johnny Smoke, Dahliam and Pulse Reaction, plus DJ Ace the Cut Lieutenant on the cuts, keeping the features firmly in the hardcore, bar-heavy lane.
Behind the boards he splits production between himself and a tight circle of collaborators: Erick Sermon, DJ City Rich, D-ski The Illeagle, Alcapella, Tape Flip and Trashdiggah all contribute beats, giving the EP a classic feel without ever sounding stuck in the past.
Lead singles “NBNA” and “Who’s Dat (feat. DJ City Rich)” set the tone early – tense, neck-snap boom bap with A-F-R-O snapping from the first bar and the hooks cut straight from cipher talk. As a full project, No More Patience plays like a mission statement: no filler, no trend-chasing, just an MC tired of waiting and fully back in attack mode.
Spin “No More Patience” now and let it run front to back – this is pure head-nod fuel for anyone who still wants their rap heavy on bars and beats.
