Kent Jamz – Demon Days [Video]
Kent Jamz has released an official visualizer for the opening track off his latest project, “fear”.
Kent Jamz opens his new EP with “demon days”, a moody first chapter in his return after a three-year break from full projects, following 2022’s “Fanclub”. The 7-track EP dropped October 10 via Epic Records and runs just under 30 minutes, with “demon days” setting the tone at a tight 3:01.
Lyrically, “demon days” sits in the aftermath of a breakup – Kent sounds stuck in that foggy space where the ex has moved on, and you’re still wrestling with what you lost. He sings about nothing but demon days since you went away, folding regret, longing and self-blame into a slow, unhurried R&B progression. The track is written by Khallid Muhammad and Esai Antigua, with Antigua also handling production and Juro “Mez” Davis on the mix, giving it a textured, cinematic-but-intimate feel built on warm low-end, soft drums and subtle guitar work.
As an opener, “demon days” does more than just introduce a playlist – it frames fear as a project about vulnerability, sobriety and accountability, themes Kent has tied directly to the EP’s making and the personal reset behind it. If you’re into emotionally heavy, modern R&B that still feels classic in its songwriting, this is the track to start with. Hit play on “demon days” and then let the rest of fear run straight through.
