Stove God Cooks – El Pueblo [Audio]
Stove God Cooks keeps the “GOAT Stamp” rollout moving with his new single “El Pueblo”, out now via Babygrande Records.
The track arrives just a week after the polarizing “GOAT Stamp” and continues the lead-up to his long-awaited sophomore album, “GOAT Stamp”, due in early 2026.
Produced by DJ Benoit, “El Pueblo” is positioned as straight heat – a return to uncompromising, bar-heavy territory that leans into the gritty, detail-rich coke rap fans fell in love with on “Reasonable Drought”. The beat rides that tense, late-night pocket Stove excels in: moody, head-nod drums and a cinematic backdrop that leaves plenty of room for his voice and personality to cut through. The title itself – “El Pueblo,” Spanish for “the people” / “the town” – fits the way he paints the surrounding environment, turning corners, stairwells and kitchens into recurring characters.
Coming right after the more experimental “GOAT Stamp” single (and its DJ Drama version), this single feels like a statement to the core audience: the new era is here, but the pen is still razor sharp. If “GOAT Stamp” was the loud announcement, “El Pueblo” is the cold stare that follows – confident, grounded and tailor-made to raise anticipation for the full album.
