Polo G taps fellow Chicago heavyweight G Herbo for “Gangsta Graduation”, a brand new single from the “Hood Poet: Black Heart Edition” era – the upcoming deluxe extension of his 2024 album “Hood Poet“.
Produced by OZ and Charley Cooks, the track is three minutes of cold-focus storytelling, framing survival like a diploma you only get if you live long enough to see the ceremony.
Over ominous melodies and heavy drums, Polo G moves in a melodic, half-sung cadence, talking about blood on the pavement, courtroom shock, and the kind of scars that don’t fade just because the money did.
