Big K.R.I.T. – Dedicated To Cadalee Biarritz Vol. 1 [Album Stream]

Big K.R.I.T. is back in full album mode with “Dedicated to Cadalee Biarritz Vol. 1”, his first full-length project since 2022’s “Digital Roses Don’t Die“.

The 17-track set is exactly what the title suggests: a whole world built around his 1985 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz, affectionately named Ms. Cadalee Eleanora Biarritz – his “chrome lady,” “precious metal,” and very literal muse.

Structurally, “Dedicated to Cadalee Biarritz Vol. 1” is stitched together with radio drops and car-culture commercials – from opener “Cadalee Radio Intro” into skits like “Grillz by Scotty Commercial”, “CJ Customs Commercial” and “Spokesnvogues Commercial,” all the way to the closing “Karlous Miller Freestyle” and “Celebrate the Line.”

In between, K.R.I.T. locks into pure Southern ride music: the reflective “Old News”, motivational single “Gotta Do It”, high-octane “Hi Def”, freeway ready “The Mileage” and cruising anthems like “I-20,” “Elevated,” “So Far So Good,” “Precious Metal” and “In the Rain”. “The Everliving Sub Knocker” does exactly what its title promises – tailor-made to see what your trunk can really handle.

Conceptually, the record is one long car metaphor: Cadalee becomes the lens for everything from growth and relationships to money, politics, and the weight of responsibility.

Even when he’s talking about poverty, stress, or tension in the world, he keeps the energy light enough that the ride never feels heavy-handed – more like late-night conversations while the dash glows and the miles roll by. Sonically, he leans into his Mississippi roots with soul-drenched beats, old-school R&B and funk textures, and that warm, analog Southern knock he’s known for – retro enough to imagine blasting it in an ’80s Caddy, but polished for 2025 streams.

Hit play on “Dedicated to Cadalee Biarritz Vol. 1” below, let the intro roll into “Old News,” “Gotta Do It” and “The Mileage”, and see how far Cadalee takes you – this one’s built front-to-back for real highway time.
