Tee Grizzley – Lou’s Deli [Video]
Tee Grizzley keeps the “Street Psalms” rollout moving with the official video for “Lou’s Deli”, one of the early highlights from his new album.
The track sits at No. 3 on the 20-song project, which dropped mid-November and finds Grizzley balancing street storytelling, melodic records and reflective moments across nearly an hour of new music.
On wax, “Lou’s Deli” is pure Detroit talk: a cold, mid-tempo banger where the beat leaves plenty of space for Grizzley’s voice to cut through. Over tense keys and knocking drums, he lays out ground rules about respect and boundaries – no playing with his name, no internet sneak dissing, no strangers inserting themselves into situations that don’t concern them. He keeps circling back to the time he already lost to prison and how little patience he has left for fake pages, gossip, and people who won’t stand on what they say in real life.
The “Lou’s Deli” video, shot by JerryPHD, takes the concept back to its source. Grizzley posts up at the real Lou’s Deli, the Detroit corned beef institution that inspired the title, turning the spot into both backdrop and symbol – a neighborhood fixture that’s been there as long as the stories he’s rapping about. The visual keeps things grounded and local: no overblown storyline, just Grizzley in his element, surrounded by his people, turning an everyday city landmark into a reminder of where he comes from and who he’s speaking for.
“Lou’s Deli” plays like a mission statement for “Street Psalms”: street rap rooted in real places, real history and a very clear line about what he will and won’t tolerate. Hit play on the video below, then run “Street Psalms” from the top – this one sets the tone for the rest of the album.
