Ferg – Big Dawg [Video]

Ferg is officially in “Flip Phone Shorty” mode.

“Big Dawg” started life as the lead single off his Big Dawg single release and now roars back as one of the early standouts on his new project “Flip Phone Shorty – Strictly For Da Streetz Vol. 1“, a newly released tape that finds him doubling down on raw, street-heavy energy.

Having dropped the “ASAP” and moving as Ferg these days, he sounds like he’s got something to prove all over again.

Produced by Lex Luger, “Big Dawg” is a two-minute adrenaline shot: huge drums, a springy low end and just enough melody to keep it stuck in your head while the hook bulldozes through.
Ferg snaps from the first bar, talking big money, bigger status and the kind of grind that separates the real movers from the background noise. No long intro, no filler – it’s built for instant impact, the type of record that feels engineered for festival chaos and club rewinds.

The “Big Dawg” video pushes that energy out onto the pavement. Shot on location in Harlem, it follows Ferg through his home turf, turning everyday blocks into a victory lap as he shows what “big dawg” hustle looks like in real time. Street-level camera work, fast cuts and plenty of motion keep everything feeling live and unpolished in the best way – like you’re right there in the middle of the run, not watching from a safe distance. The focus stays on presence: Ferg talking his talk, mobbing through the city and reminding you he’s still very much outside.

Hit play on the “Big Dawg” video below, then spin “Flip Phone Shorty – Strictly For Da Streetz Vol. 1” front to back – this one sets the tone for the whole tape.
