Chillhop Essentials – Winter 2025 [Beat Tape]

Winter season officially starts when Chillhop drops a new “Essentials” compilation, and “Chillhop Essentials Winter 2025” nails that moment once again.

The latest installment in the long-running series brings together 28 instrumental tracks from 37 producers across the globe, continuing a tradition that’s been running every season since 2016.

It’s billed as the year-end wrap-up, but it feels more like a dedicated winter mode: short days, long nights, and a steady stream of beats that make cold weather feel like an excuse to stay in.

Musically, this one sits right in that sweet spot between melancholy and warmth that Chillhop does so well in winter. Winter 2025 arrives as a double LP in multiple flavours – classic black vinyl, a limited baby blue pressing, and a crystal / baby blue colour-in-colour variant. All housed in a gatefold sleeve with artwork by Jakub Kozowski, hand-numbered with printed inner sleeves, and a download card. There are also matching cassette and CD versions, plus extras like a slipmat, fine art print and a “Snow Days” tee built around the same artwork.
