A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie – Part Of Me [Video]

A Boogie Wit da Hoodie is easing into his next era with “Part of Me”, a teaser for his upcoming sixth studio album.

Produced by Joshua Moreau, Abstrakt and Luca Beats, the track is a mellow pop-rap confessional built on a soft, echoey beat and synth washes, flipping Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together” into something firmly in A Boogie’s world.

Lyrically, he’s deep in his feelings: torn between moving on and still being attached to someone who feels like they’ll always have a claim on him. He talks about spoiling her, his own flaws, the pressure of his lifestyle and the way old habits pull him back, mixing vulnerability and flexes the way only he does. It’s the kind of song built for late-night repeat plays — soft-spoken, melodic and a little haunted.

The Kid Art–directed video leans all the way into that mood. Shot in New York City, it’s a sleek, cinematic piece that plays like a short film: dark color palettes, clean framing and a string of dramatic vignettes instead of a simple performance clip. The visuals underline the song’s perspective — a guy trying to keep it together while the past keeps replaying in his head — and give “Part of Me” the kind of atmosphere you expect from a proper album rollout moment.

With “Part of Me” already moving on the charts and critics calling it one of his most introspective singles in years, A Boogie looks ready to slide straight back into album mode.
Hit play on the video below and get familiar now — this feels like the opening chapter of his next full-length.
