Snowgoons are back in full “Black Snow” mode.
On “The Hatred 3” the German production squad reconnects with long-time collaborators Slaine and Madchild and adds Benny Holiday plus DJ Crypt on the cuts, turning a cult series into a full-blown trilogy. The new single is taken from the upcoming album “Black Snow 3”, which is due to drop in early 2026 and is already up for pre-order as a limited CD and vinyl run.
Where the original “The Hatred” from “Black Snow” and its sequel on “Black Snow 2” were already straight neck-snappers, part three somehow manages to raise the stakes again. The beat is classic Snowgoons: dark, cinematic and heavy on that icy boom-bap thump they built their name on – exactly the “epic Black Snow sound” they’ve promised to bring back on the new record. Slaine sets the tone with his usual bruised-knuckle storytelling, Madchild follows with off-kilter, snarling imagery, and Benny Holiday slides in like he’s been part of this saga from day one, while DJ Crypt’s razor-sharp cuts stitch everything together.
Visually, HausRiot leans all the way into geeked-out menace: the video flips Star Wars-inspired imagery into a grim little universe of its own, matching the track’s sense of looming conflict and giving fans something extra to freeze-frame their way through.
If you’ve been riding with Snowgoons since the first “Black Snow“, “The Hatred 3” feels like coming home to a colder, meaner version of that world. If you’re new to the series, this is a perfect entry point – and a loud warning shot that “Black Snow 3” is shaping up to be another big chapter in the Goons’ catalog.
