Consequence – Come With Me [Video]

Consequence is back in album mode with “Come With Me”, the first big statement from his upcoming project “I Work For Me”.

On the boards, he reconnects with Ye, who handles primary production, with Consequence listed as co-producer. The beat is classic soul-chop Ye with a 2025 sheen: tight drums, big low end and a warm, looping sample pulled from Gal Costa’s “Se Você Pensa”, fleshed out by live bass from Thunder Zay and strings by Jaylon Black. As a package, “Come With Me” feels less like a random loosie and more like the opening chapter of “I Work For Me”—a Queens rap vet tapping back in with Ye, rhyming over lush, sample-heavy production and reminding everyone why his name still rings in the first place.
