Tee Grizzley – In My Life [Video]

Tee Grizzley shares a matching set of visual for “In My Life”.

Detroit’s Tee Grizzley opens his new album “Street Psalms” with a gut check. “In My Life” is the first song on the project, a 2:26 intro produced by TntXD and Shaad K Rounds, and it now comes with an official video shot by longtime collaborator JerryPHD.

The track sets the tone for the whole record: raw testimony over tense Detroit trap, more focused on scars than celebration. Sonically, “In My Life” runs on a pressurised, soulful backdrop—melodic keys and looming bass with just enough space for Tee to slide between laid-back melodies and sudden flashes of aggression. Lyrically he’s in full reflection mode: talking about bolting a kit on the AMG, cutting off anyone whose “word don’t mean” anything, wishing he was still saying free his homies instead of resting in peace. He also admits he could never adjust to being broke, no matter how long it took to get right.

The “In My Life” video keeps that energy close to the chest. Rather than a big, scripted storyline, JerryPHD frames Tee in performance shots and day-in-the-life moments that match the record’s title—less movie treatment, more lived reality, with the camera locked on his delivery and the weight behind the words.

As the opening cut on “Street Psalms“—a 20-track set that runs through loss, loyalty, paranoia and small victories—“In My Life” works like a mission statement.
