Ferg – Big Dawg [Audio]

Ferg hits full mosh-mode on “Big Dawg”, a brand new solo single that arrives ahead of his upcoming album “Flip Phone Shorty – Strictly for Da Streetz Vol. 1”, due out November 28.

Clocking in at just about two minutes, the track is built to smack immediately: huge drums, a bouncing tempo and hooky pockets that feel tailor-made for festival chaos.

Production comes from Lex Luger and Taavi Haapala, who cook up a hard, hyperactive beat that keeps shifting under Ferg’s feet. He responds by leaning into his more experimental, free-swinging flow—lots of ad-libs, swagger and chantable lines, the kind of writing that makes you want to yell the title back at the speakers. Early reactions have already pegged it as one of those “press play and jump in the pit” records.

The official visualizer keeps things simple and loud, focusing on artwork and motion graphics rather than a narrative video, which puts all the attention on the record itself while still giving it a proper visual push across YouTube and socials. As a first taste of “Flip Phone Shorty – Strictly for Da Streetz Vol. 1”, “Big Dawg” sets the tone: high-energy, street-level and clearly designed to be played way too loud.
