Summer Walker – Finally Over It [Album Stream]
“Finally Over It” is Summer Walker closing the book on the “Over It” era for good.
Her third studio album, released via LVRN/Interscope, is an 18-track R&B set and the final part of the trilogy that started with “Over It” (2019) and “Still Over It” (2021).
Structurally, it’s split clean down the middle: For Better and For Worse, mirroring the wedding-themed rollout. The first half leans into healing, boundaries and self-worth; the second imagines what happens when you trade intimacy for lifestyle and keep running back to the same chaos.
Sonically it’s lush, slow-burning R&B with trap-soul edges and a stacked guest list (Mariah the Scientist, Latto, Doja Cat, Chris Brown, Anderson .Paak, Bryson Tiller, 21 Savage and more), but the focus never really leaves Summer’s voice or her point of view. It plays less like a new chapter and more like a final statement: she’s not just over him anymore — she’s over the whole cycle.
