NF – Fear [EP]

“fear” is NF stepping back into the room with the lights off and the cameras rolling.

After more than a year of silence following his 2023 album “HOPE”, the six-track EP arrives as a darker companion piece: “Fear”, “Home”, “Who I Was” (with mgk), “Give Me a Reason”, “Sorry” (with James Arthur) and “Washed Up”.

Where “Hope” reached for daylight, “Fear” sits in the relapse — talking to the old anxieties at the door, letting them in just long enough to confront them. The title track is classic NF: cinematic, claustrophobic, faith-struck, wrestling with the part of him that still wants to disappear, while “Washed Up” and “Who I Was” push deeper into identity and self-doubt instead of pretending those questions are settled.

Short version: this isn’t a victory lap, it’s a check-in — brutally honest, tightly written, and very clearly the next chapter in the “Mansion” → “The Search” → “Hope” storyline.
