Nickelus F – Disclosure Vol. 1 [Beat Tape]

Nickelus F is back with a new beat tape for our listening pleasure.

“Disclosure Vol. 1” is ten taut instrumentals cut with crate-dust and curiosity, the kind of tape that invites you to loop a track and start building. Released on Halloween, it runs about 21 minutes and arrives fully in-house: produced, mixed, mastered, and art-directed by Nickelus F under Trick Dice Records. Richmond fingerprints all over it.

The sequencing reads like a dossier cracked open: “The Congressional Hearing”, “Orders of Magnitude”, “Transdimensional”, “Montauk”, “D.U.M.B.S.” — titles that frame the sonics as transmissions rather than mere loops. It’s concise, cinematic, and paced for repeat listens; “200,000MPH” and “Aggressive Activity” feel like the tape’s throttle and tail-lights.

What stands out most is intention. These aren’t throwaway sketches; they’re purpose-built canvases that nod to SP-culture and sample science without getting lost in nostalgia. It’s the rare beat project that plays front-to-back and still makes your fingers itch to write. If you’ve been waiting on Nickelus F to drop a producer-first statement, this is it—his first official beat tape, out now on Bandcamp.
