Jay Electronica’s keeps them joints coming with “A Written Testimony: Power At The Rate Of My Dreams”, which landed on September 20—carrying forward the banner of his debut, “A Written Testimony“.

In the days leading up to it, his once-mythic catalog finally hit streaming platforms: “Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge)” arrived on September 17, followed by “Act II: The Patents of Nobility (The Turn)” on September 18, and “A Written Testimony: Leaflets” on Friday, September 19.

True to form, the EP is packed with layered bars, tight internal rhyme, and nods back to the earlier “AWT” chapter. Instead of the thunderous, chest-out moments he’s known for, this set leans on spoken-word snippets, spiritual motifs, and mostly drumless, airy backdrops—more meditative than bombastic, and all the more gripping for it.
