Joyner Lucas feat. Mya – NVM [Video]

Joyner Lucas is back with a brand-new visual, this time bringing R&B legend Mya into the spotlight for his “NVM” music video.

The cinematic clip flips perspectives, opening with Lucas rapping through Mya’s character as she vents her frustrations about a failing relationship while lying in bed beside her partner: “I stayed around for way too long hoping that we’d be straight / but you don’t respect me anymore, I’m seeing it in your face.”

From there, the story shifts. Lucas takes on the man’s voice, looking back at the highs of their relationship and admitting that what used to feel like friendship has now soured into constant arguments.

Fans are already eating it up. “Joyner just too good at what he does,” one top YouTube comment reads, while another calls him “one of the greatest of all time frfr.”

The drop follows the July release of Lucas’s third studio album, “ADHD 2”, which was stacked with features from Ava Max, T-Pain, Blackbear, Ty Dolla Sign, Big Sean, J Balvin, DaBaby, Fireboy DML, and Chris Brown. The project also featured skits with Kevin Hart and Denzel Washington, showcasing Lucas’s knack for blending music with storytelling.

Outside of the album rollout, Lucas grabbed headlines the same month with his back-and-forth with Skepta, trading diss tracks that stirred plenty of conversation online.

With “NVM,” though, he’s shifting the focus back to what fans love most—his sharp pen, layered storytelling, and ability to turn a track into a full narrative.
