SoulRocca – Distance The Mission / His Name Is [EP]
SoulRocca have released a new boom-bap EP featuring Smiley The Ghetto Child and Wildelux.
The producer trio SoulRocca, made up of Boogiedown Base, 12 Finger Dan, and Roccwell, is back with their latest boom-bap offering: a new EP featuring the tracks “Distance The Mission” with Smiley The Ghetto Child and “His Name Is” with Wildelux.
Known for their signature sound of soulful samples, hard-hitting drums, and precise scratches, SoulRocca continues to deliver an authentic underground experience. Smiley The Ghetto Child brings his raw street energy to “Distance The Mission,” complementing SoulRocca’s uncompromising production.
Boogiedown Base and 12 Finger Dan have already made their mark as SOULBROTHA, a duo celebrated for their unwavering dedication to golden-era hip-hop. Their impressive collaborative history includes work with legends like DJ Premier, Large Professor, and Blaq Poet.
Munich-based Roccwell is the third member, a respected figure in the international boom-bap scene. His solo album “Still Lovin’ Boombap” and the collaboration “Chocolate Bars” with Harlem’s Emma Lee M.C. (featuring Masta Ace & Bahamadia) have solidified his reputation.
This new EP is a powerful statement from the Hamburg-Munich connection, reinforcing their commitment to a consistent, classic, and uncompromising boom-bap sound. As they put it: 50% SOULBROTHA + 50% Roccwell = 100% SoulRocca.
