Hip-Hop icon Too Short’s latest project, “Sir Too Short Vol. 1 (Freaky Tales)”, is now available on all digital streaming platforms via EMPIRE.

The 14-track release features production from longtime collaborator Ant Banks and contributions from Jazze Pha; it solidifies his standing as a legend whose influence spans both the music industry and the streets, as confidently stated in the title track. The album maintains his signature West Coast sound while presenting a diverse array of tracks. Examples include the R&B-flavored “Pick a Side”, a collaboration with Jazze Pha, Snoop Dogg, and Rexx Life Raj, and the dynamic “Pimpin’ Like Kenny Red” featuring verses from Larry June and BossLife Big Spence. This release is particularly significant as it makes the nearly 59-year-old Short the only active hip-hop artist to have released an album in five distinct decades, showcasing his remarkable and sustained career.
