Will Smith – Based On A True Story [Album Stream]
After a 20-year break, Will Smith, the iconic “Fresh Prince”, is releasing a new 14-track album, “Based On A True Story”, which reflects his personal experiences.
Notably, he consulted with Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z for advice on the project. Jigga advised Will Smith to “tell his true story”, directly influencing the album’s title. Kendrick Lamar urged him to be authentic and “voice his deepest fears”, advice Smith clearly took to heart.
“Based On A True Story” is now available from RITW/SLANG Recordings. The project includes collaborations with DJ Jazzy Jeff, Teyana Taylor, and Jac Ross.
