Westside Gunn – 12 [Album Stream]

Westside Gunn, known for his love of wrestling, streetwear style, and commitment to supporting other rappers, continues this trend with his new album.

This project, a follow-up to 2022’s “Peace “Fly” God” and the 12th installment in his “Hermes” series, heavily features Estee Nack and Stove God Cooks, who appear together on seven of the album’s eleven tracks. Their collaborations, like “BOSWELL” and the Daringer-produced “VEERT,” blend coke-rap bravado with themes of luxury and street life, even featuring Gunn boasting about parallel parking a Bugatti amidst his cohorts’ gritty narratives. Stove God Cooks shines with Gunn on “055,” while Nack delivers a mix of dark themes and raw sensuality on “BURY ME WITH A STOVE”.

Brother Tom Sos, who impressed on 2024’s “Still Praying,” returns for two tracks, showcasing Gunn’s dedication to uplifting fellow artists. “Health Science” evokes a conscious rap vibe, and “Gumbo YaYa” transforms violent metaphors into a more principled narrative. Elijah Hooks, known for his production work with Mach-Hommy and Conway The Machine, makes a surprising but welcome appearance on Conductor Williams’ “Dump World”. The album closes with “Outlander”, a solo effort from Gunn that encapsulates the album’s themes, incorporating his signature WWE references and the introspective style explored in his previous EP.

Stream the 11-track offering below and check out the Daily Gems-directed music video for “Outlander”, which follows Gunn as he navigates the streets of New York City, spitting his signature luxurious rhymes, under that.
