Kanye West Announces “Jesus Is King” Sequel With Dr. Dre
Kanye West just took his Twitter to announce that he’s working on “Jesus Is King II” with none other than Dr. Dre.
“I first met Dre in December of 2003,” Kanye once said in a Rollingstone piece back in 2010. “He asked me to produce a track for the Game. At first I was star-struck, but within 30 minutes I was begging him to mix my next album. He’s the definition of a true talent: Dre feels like God placed him here to make music, and no matter what forces are aligned against him, he always ends up on the mountaintop.”
This collaboration would’ve been great a decade ago. But now, I don’t see me getting too excited for anything coming out of Wyoming – even if the good doctor is involved.
