The magnificent Jazzy Jeff is back with an updated version of his 2002 track, “Rock Wit U”.

7” vinyl imprint Alim Music revisits Osunlade’s distinctive versions of Jazzy Jeff’s classic cut “Rock Wit U” feat. Erro, with special ’45 edits of both the ‘Yoruba Soul Mix’ and ‘Yoruba Soul Dub’ created specially by Osunlade himself. Appearing on Jazzy Jeff’s 2002 BBE debut album “The Magnificent”, “Rock Wit U” started life as a smooth and soulful R&B cut, featuring sultry vocals from Erro (Eric Roberson). Back in 2001, production hero Osunlade remixed the track, taking this slow jam into dancefloor territory, where it became an underground hit, championed by the likes of Joe Claussell and Masters at Work.
