Logic Talks “Glorious Five”, Dad, Mastering His Flow, Influences, Rattpack & More [Video]

Here ist part 5 of Logic’s interview with Hard Knock TV’s Nick Huff Barili.

This is episode 5, where Logic breaks down his track “Glorious Five”. Interview starts with Logic saying that practice was the key element to him mastering his craft and his flow. “No Flow is Original” says Logic. Although people in the past have tried to use it in a negative manner, Logic says that he is proud to be a chameleon with his flow. He is inspired by his peers and legends and has incorporated different styles into his flow, showing homage to what made an impact on him. Logic has put in his 10,000 hours studying his craft from how MC’s put syllables together, to word choice which he uses Eminem as example of how he slant rhymes, changing the pronunciation of two words slightly, to be able to rhyme Orange with Door Hinge. Logic goes on to update us on the relationship with his father which he says is improving but he still wishes he could talk to his dad about something other than funding his music career. Before this episode ends Logic explains why its so important for the Rattpack to be inclusive of the people that feel left out and at the bottom. Logic wants it to be a home for people like himself when he felt like he didn’t have a place to belong to.
